Warming Up and Winding Down

After the Lobster Dip in Old Orchard I was taking pictures and when I turned around everyone I was with was gone and I didn't know where to find them. I didn't know where they went and I didn't know where the car was parked and I knew that at least two of them would be super anxious to get home and warm up after being in the cold water. After searching for a while and then standing on the edge of the frozen street I decided I would hoof it on home. Six miles is nothing, right??? Maybe during the summer but in the 20 degree cold, I was hoping desperately that one of the two cars full of people I was with would drive by soon and pick me up. They did, about a mile down the road, so I was saved!!

So once we got home our idea to warm up and wind down was to go for a walk on the beach... hmmm.... not sure it was much warmer, but the dogs were happy and so were the guys with their cigars.
