Rainy Day Amusement

It's been too long!!! Sorry for that!! I'll catch up a bit in the next few days!!!

Today was a blah rainy day. I had breakfast with Lucas and then battered my vocal chords with some RockBand. Then Rebecca and I decided it wold be great to drive up the coast to get some bread at a bakery. So we drove almost an hour up the coast to Pescadero. We stopped at the amazing Arcangeli Bakery and got yummy bread and croissants. Then we drove on to the Harley Goat farm. We watched the goats getting milked, and then got to go in to see the 200+ baby goats at the farm right now! They are all so cute!

Then we went to the Pescadero beach.

On the way back to Santa Cruz we stopped to enjoy the sunset... and the wind...

Debauchery Santa Cruz style

My 3 week vacation with the family is over. When I got back to Santa Cruz, my cat had taken revenge in the form of muddy footprints all over my house and a couple of strategically placed hairballs. Unfortunately for him, I was only home three days before I ran off to a tradeshow in Phoenix.

I didn't bring my camera, I figured that with 7,000 professional photographers around I wouldn't need my camera. But I missed some really great photo ops so I have learned my lesson - bring my camera!!

So when a couple days later we had our annual holiday party at Neptune's Kingdom for walk, I made sure to bring my camera. I will not take responsibility for the focus, I swear there was something wrong with my lens... alcohol blur or something technical sounding like that!!

Another Walk

This was the last day Jason and Charlene were around for my vacation.

Window Shoppig in the Old Port

After our walk Charlene, Jason, and I went to Portland to do some shopping in the Old Port area.

Walk

The next day Charlene, Jason, and I took Maliko for a walk in the AM. The beach was frozen.

The Hooligans at Mulligans

So Cat and David were supposed to leave in the late morning, but first they had to take Mazuna for a walk. Hours went by... the rest of us played cards... and waited... We didn't want to leave the house because we wanted to see Cat and David before they left, but we also knew it was getting way too late to start driving to Philly. We had a bunch of guesses where they might be, and though we knew they can take care of themselves we thought of taking a drive to see if we could find them. In the end it turned out they spent several hours hanging out next door with Maggie and Frank drinking and inhaling second hand smoke. So we needed some dinner and something fun to do.... Off to Mulligans we went!!
